For example in China, the 1st generation Hyundai Verna which was named as Hyundai Accent at that time was manufactured by joint venture enterprise Dongfeng Yueda-Kia with nameplate Yueda-Kia Qianlima from 2002 to 2006, and in international market at the time, the 2nd generation Hyundai Verna was released. Then from 2006 to 2010, the 3rd generation Hyundai Verna was released in China with nameplate Hyundai Accent. Since 2010, the 4th generation Hyundai Verna was released with the nameplate Verna firstly, and its local Chinese name is Ruina. If you are still confused the relationship between Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Reina which was released in 2017, please write this related post, Difference Between Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Reina.

As for Hyundai Verna diecast model, we have shared a 1/18 scale 5th generation Hyundai Verna(YC) model before, however, if you are still looking for the 4th generation Hyundai Verna(RC) car toy released in China in 2010, here is the exact one for you.

1/32 Hyundai Verna Car Toy

Looking at displayed pictures, it is the 1/32 scale Hyundai Verna car toy, the Chinese name Ruina(瑞纳) was printed on front licence plate while the English name VERNA was printed on rear license plate.

Compared with 1/18 scale Hyundai car models, this 1/32 scale car toy is mainly for children, and there are some funny playing methods, for example, two car doors can be opened or closed as real car, and pull back car toy on floor, then loose hand, car toy goes forward automatically. However, if you are the 4th generation Hyundai Verna car owners, this Verna car toy can be used as as home or office decoration, or even your collection.

Difference Between Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Reina http://www.hyundaiautonews.com/difference-between-hyundai-verna-and-hyundai-reina/ Tue, 06 Jun 2023 02:42:00 +0000 http://www.hyundaiautonews.com/?p=427 We have introduced the difference between Hyundai Celesta and Hyundai Elantra Yuedong in previous post, Relationship Between Hyundai Celesta and Hyundai Elantra Yuedong, and today we will introduce another Hyundai car named as Hyundai Verna which is also confused by many people.

Firstly, we will introduce the development of Hyundai Verna, some people would not be familiar with this vehicle, however, they would be familiar with another Hyundai vehicle named as Hyundai Accent which was released in 1993 with code name X3 as its first generation product.

The names of Hyundai Accent are different in many countries, for example, it is named as Hyundai Pony in France, Hyundai Excel in Australia,Hyundai Brio in Puerto Rico and so on. What’s more, the first generation Hyundai Accent was produced in China with the name Yueda-Kia Qianlima.

In 2010, the 4th generation Hyundai Accent was released at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show, and it was named as Hyundai Verna, along with its Chinese name, Ruina. Please remember its Chinese name is Ruina at this time. In August, 2010, Hyundai Verna sedan was available in the Chinese market while later in December, 2010, Hyundai Verna hatchback was released as the 2011 edition Verna.

In 2017, a new Hyundai car named as Hyundai Reina was manufactured in China by Beijing Hyundai joint venture. Surprisingly, the car with different names, Verna and Reina, has the same Chinese name Ruina. In the Hyundai sedan lineup in China, Hyundai Reina is slightly under the Verna. However, in some Latin American countries such as Costa Rica, Chile and Peru, the Reina is sold as the Hyundai Verna.

The Chinese name Ruina was changed from Hyundai Verna to Hyundai Reina in 2017, what about the new released Hyundai Verna? YES, a new Chinese name, Yuena, was given to Hyundai Verna released in 2016.

In short, on the one hand, Hyundai Verna in China produced between 2010 and 2016 was named as Hyundai Ruina, and later Hyundai Verna’s Chinese name was changed to Yuena, on the other hand, Chinese name Hyundai Ruina was changed from Hyundai Verna to Hyundai Ruina, which was discontinued in 2020, China.

2017 New Hyundai Reina Diecast Model for Fans Collection http://www.hyundaiautonews.com/2017-new-hyundai-reina-diecast-model-for-fans-collection/ Sun, 27 Mar 2022 13:41:00 +0000 http://www.hyundaiautonews.com/?p=278 When talking about Hyundai Reina(Chinese name is Hyundai Ruina), which was a subcompact sedan manufactured in China by Beijing Hyundai joint venture, some people would be puzzled which one is the right Hyundai Ruina, Hyundai Reina released in 2017 or Hyundai Verna released in 2010, because both of these two cars has the same Chinese name.

If you have read our previous post, 5th Generation Hyundai Verna(YC) Diecast Model for Collection, you should know its relationship. Let’s explain it again at here simply.

4th generation Hyundai Verna released in 2010 have the Chinese name Hyundai Ruina, but the Chinese name of the 5th generation Hyundai Verna released in 2016 was changed from Hyundai Ruina to Hyundai Yuena. In 2017, new Hyundai Ruina with new English nameplate Hyundai Reina was released and on sale in September 2017 in China and is the first car produced in Beijing Hyundai’s Chongqing plant. However, Since 2019, the Reina is sold as the Hyundai Verna in Latin American markets such as Costa Rica, Chile and Peru.

With the release of new Hyundai Reina in 2017, its 1/18 scale diecast model is also available for fans collection, model pictures are below.

Two different colors including golden and champagne are available, its function is the same as most 1/18 scale diecast car models such as openable car doors, trunk and bonnet.

Hyundai Reina was already suspend production in China, I am afraid there is no new Hyundai Reina diecast model released, so this is the only one Hyundai Reina model shared with collectors.

In 2010, the 4th generation Hyundai Accent was released in China with the nameplate firstly Hyundai Verna this time, and its Chinese name is Ruina. In order to distinguish the Hyundai Reina, which has the same Chinese name Ruina, released in 2017, the 4th generation Hyundai Verna is marked as Hyundai Verna (RC).

The 4th generation Hyundai Verna was on sale in China since 2010, but there is no related diecast models released. In late 2016, the 5th generation Hyundai Verna, also known as Hyundai Verna(YC), was released in China, and at this time, its 1/18 scale diecast car model was manufactured for fans collection or gift for car owners when buying the car.
