Hyundai Grandeur, also known as Hyundai Azera from 2005 to present in some countries such as U.S. and Canada, was manufactured and marketed by Hyundai since 1986. And in 1992, the 2nd generation Grandeur(LX) was released, later in 1998, 2005, 2011 and 2016, its next generation Grandeur went for sale in many countries one after another.
Accoring to the sales statistics of Grandeur(or Azera) in the U.S., it is one of the best selling sedan cars until late 2008, and then it suffered a significant drop in sales, for example, only 8 thousand Grandeur cars were sold in the three years, from 2009 to 2011. After the 5th generation Grandeur released, the sales increased a little, but still not as good as before.
Even if sale drops seriously, there are still lots of Grandeur car owners, and some owners want to find the related diecast models or toys, as far as I know, only 5th generation Hyundai Grandeur(Azera) diecast models were manufactured for kids or collectors.
